BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota is getting a federal grant of nearly $1.4 million to help with recovery efforts following last year's historic Missouri River flooding in the Bismarck-Mandan area.

The state's congressional delegation announced the Federal Emergency Management Agency grant on Tuesday. The money is in addition to other FEMA flood-recovery funding that already has been announced.

Sens. John Hoeven and Kent Conrad and Rep. Rick Berg say the state will use the money to reimburse the city of Bismarck for repairs that already have been completed.
