Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- A new flight out of Grand Forks is in jeopardy, as officials say it's simply not being used.

Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- A new flight out of Grand Forks is in jeopardy, as officials say it's simply not being used.

It's a United Airlines straight flight to Denver. Right now it's running at half full most flights. A United spokesperson says the slow start could be blamed on election season, ad space was full and the company couldn't get the word out of the new flight.

Typically, new flights out of Grand Forks are around 80-percent full.

On an opposite note, boarding numbers at the Grand Forks airport could break a record for the year.
