A Fargo man is caught assaulting his girlfriend

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- A Fargo man is in jail after an officer caught him hitting his girlfriend, and kicking her in the face.
It happened around 5:30 this morning near 7th Avenue North and 1st Street.
An officer caught 24-year-old Roberto RodrIguez punching a woman as she lay on her back. Rodriguez then kicked her numerous times.
The suspect was arrested for domestic violence, aggravated assault and resisting arrest. The victim was was treated and released.
