Pedestrian is killed trying to cross a highway in Becker County

(WDAY TV) -- A man died after being hit trying to cross a highway in Becker County last night.
The Minnesota state patrol says 25 year old Shelby Somerville of Lake Park was hit by a vehicle on highway 10, where it intersects with 2nd street, in Lake Park, just after 10:30.
There's no crosswalk there. Somerville died at Essentia Health St. Mary's in Detroit Lakes. The patrol says alcohol was found in his system.
The driver wasn't hurt.
