Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- The Bison Men's Basketball team tested themselves

early in this season to get them ready for nights like tonight, the opener of the Summit League season, where NDSU was picked to finish 2nd.

Tonight they were hoping those early tests helped out against league newcomer Omaha.

Bison had an unbelievable shooting night, making 15 out of 25 three pointers!

Taylor Braun, who scored 26 points, says, "I really wasn't satisfied on how I was shooting the ball, my percentage not what I'm capabale of, and I got back to basics, hit my 1st couple, kept shooting it."

Saul Phillips, NDSU Head Coach, says, "It's the law of averages, his confidence never wavered, my confidence in him never wavered lot of belief in that guy, might not be 7 of 9 every night, but his percentage will go in

the right direction."
