Local leaders learn the cost of addiction

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- A dose of reality this morning for Fargo-Moorhead community and business leaders. They learned, first-hand, the cost of addiction.

An attorney, judge and doctor led a panel discussion on addiction. Each talked about recovery from the business, medical and legal perspectives.

Fifty-four million people are binge drinkers, while 16 million are heavy drinkers. Addiction costs American businesses $170 billion a year. The toll on families can't be calculated.
