Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - A staple in Minnesota politics is getting a well-deserved thank you.
Keith Langseth served in the state senate for 32 years. Before that he spent four years in the state house.
He says every time reelection would come up, he had more he wanted to accomplish.
Moorhead city council thanked Langseth for all of his contribution throughout the years as he's now ready for "semi-retirement."
Sen. Keith Langseth, (D) District 9: “Arizona for about three months but we're going to be out on the farm. I was working cattle today. My dad passed away on his farm when he was like 92 and I'd like to make it like 95.”
One of Langseth's sayings is "I'm fair to everyone, I'm always just a little more fair to the people in my district."
