Brookings, SD (WDAY TV) - They have played 99 previous times and it seems fitting that the 100th matchup between NDSU and SDSU would have so much riding on the line.

The Bison and Jacks will clash Saturday in the second round of the FCS playoffs, just three weeks after the two teams met during the season.

The Jacks took care of business Saturday as Zach Zenner ran for nearly 300 yards guaranteeing SDSU another shot at its rivals to the north.

Winston Wright, SDSU: “Letting our team know that we can do this. This is definitely possible, facing a very tough opponent next week and we're excited.”

Zach Zenner, 292 Rushing Yards Saturday: “We felt like we're a good team, felt like we earned a higher spot. Once the bracket’s set they're not going to reset it. We had to move on. This is the path we've been given, make the best out of it.”

This is the first time since 2000 NDSU will play the same team twice in the same year, that year the Bison split with Nebraska-Omaha.

The Bison had 12 different players honored today by the Missouri Valley. Five made the conference first team, including offensive lineman Billy Turner and Joe Lund. Brock Jensen was selected to the second team.
