Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) -- One thing that would make holiday shopping a little more fun this year, hitting the 4th largest powerball jackpot.

People are making an extra stop today to get their ticket. The jackpot is at 235 million dollars.

Powerball organizers say this is the first run-up to a large jackpot that's fallen over a major holiday -- they're unsure of the impact on sales. Jackpots have increased more rapidly since the price doubled to 2-dollars in January.
