Rather than buying gifts, some people are making gifts

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- While many of you were out buying Christmas presents today, others were using their own talents to "make" them.

At the D-I-Y Wood Studio in Fargo, people can walk in and take classes and learn safety tips about wood-working. The studio is set up so those wanting to work on projects or make gifts from wood can use the tools and the space.

This is the time of year many come into D-I-Y to work on hand-made board games, wooden bowls, furniture and other items.

At ten, WDAY 6 Reporter Kevin Wallevand introduces you to some wood-workers young and old who are feeling right at home at the wood studio.
