Three daughters help spread awareness for pancreatic cancer

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Three daughters of a Fargo man who lost a battle with Pancreatic Cancer are using that journey to help others and make the plea for more research dollars for the deadly disease.
The children of Mike Olson gathered to thank staff at Roger Maris Cancer Center for the care their dad received during his brief treatment for pancreatic cancer.
During this Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month, a reminder how deadly the disease. Survival rates are in the single digits. The 4th leading cause of death, it is hard to detect and treat. Statistics show it will move into 2nd place by 2020.
