Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Some people will go above and beyond to celebrate kindness and community giving.
At the Osgood Hornbacher's, manager Craig LeMieux agreed to have his head shaved as a way to say thanks to his store for its involvement in the United Way campaign.
LeMieux's stylist, Stacy Link, came to do the honors, using clippers to cut his "gray away." LeMieux and other Hornbacher’s managers have worked with employees to increase United Way giving by more than 22% this year.
Craig Lemieux, Osgood Hornbacher’s: “It worked and we had a blast with it. We had a do you believe in miracles and I used the Herb Brooks theme and movie and had a great time and look at all the people who showed up. It is fun.”
United Way's goal this year is just over $5 million. Nearly 2 million has been raised so far. The results will be released in January.
