Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - With Thanksgiving around the corner, Concordia College wants you to remember to shop local.
It's hosting the 100 Mile Farmer's Market.
Producers are giving people a taste of what it's like to buy from local, small-business owners, like Deb Jenkins, who's serving up Texas-Sized Chips.
Organizers say it's meant to inspire shoppers with new ideas for dinner.
Phillip Edwards, Concordia College Chef: "People want to reach out what's within arm’s reach, especially around Thanksgiving when people are focusing on cooking."
Concordia says this event is an eye-opener for those who haven't shopped local before.
