Fargo man to spend two years in prison for raping girl

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A Fargo man accused of raping a girl in broad daylight will spent two years behind bars.

    Police say 26-year-old Bashir Noor, approached the 16 year old in the 100 block of 23rd Street South yesterday afternoon.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A Fargo man accused of raping a girl in broad daylight will spent two years behind bars.

26-year-old Bashir Noor is charged with solicitation of a minor.

He's accused of raping a 16-year-old girl in June, in an alley near the Somali Business Center in Fargo- located at 122 23rd Street South.

The victim escaped, and Noor was arrested a block away.

Noor claimed the girl looked older and consented.

He will serve two years in prison, with six months credit for time served, and five years probation.
