Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- On any other Sunday, employees and regular customers at Teamsters Club would have been watching the Vikings game over a potluck lunch.

Today, they stood outside the empty bar, protesting it's closure.

The group's national president shut it down last Tuesday, accusing people who run the club of mishandling money.

The supporters hope to show the community that Teamsters isn't just another bar, but donates to many charities.

Matt Sobocinki, former employee, says, "i've worked here for about five years part time, and it's really a shame that a place that's such a pillar in the community, that helps so many people out, is forced to shut down."

The Teamsters Club is closed indefinitely.
