Two drivers arrested for DWI after crash in Moorhead

MOORHEAD - Two drivers were arrested overnight for driving while impaired after being involved a minor two-vehicle crash in south Moorhead.
Moorhead police officers discovered the crash about 1 this morning at the intersection of 11th Street South and Ninth Avenue, police stated in a news release. While speaking with both drivers, who were the only occupants of the vehicles, officers suspected they were intoxicated, which led to their arrest.
Silesia Carol Tuhy, 21, and Matthew John Lofgren, 33, both of Fargo, were processed at the Clay County Jail for fourth-degree driving while impaired.
Tuhy was also charged with following too close.
Neither driver was injured.
