Washington, DC (WDAY TV) – South Dakota Senator John Thune made good on his bet with Senator John Hoeven to wear a Bison jersey following NDSU’s victory over South Dakota State in last Saturday’s Dakota Marker Game.

Senators Hoeven and Thune made a friendly wager on the outcome of the game with the loser of the bet agreeing to wear the opposing team’s jersey.

“Seeing Senator Thune sport Bison Green and Gold around Capitol Hill is quite a sight, and I want to thank him for making our team colors look so good and participating in this friendly wager,” Hoeven said.

Hoeven and Thune both serve as members of the Senate Agriculture, Nutrition & Forestry Committee and often work together on legislative issues.
