(WDAY TV) -- It's come down to one game for the Bison football team to wrap up another one of it's preseason goals. NDSU travels to Illinois State Saturday, with each team having a shot at the Missouri Valley automatic bid.

The Bison clinched a share of the conference title last week by beating

SDSU but can claim the title outright for themselves by beating an Illinois State team that's 8-2 and in the process sew up home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Zach Vraa, NDSU Soph. Wide Receiver, says, "That's pretty important for us, nobody want to share or be co-champions. This is going to be a real big game for us just so we can be the sole champions by ourselves. A bunch of other teams could be co-champions with us, so we really want to solidify it ourselves. The coaches have been saying we got to get this game to have home field advantage, not really sure what would happen if we win or lose, but I just know we have to win to play at home and not have to worry about any away games."

Christian Dudzik, NDSU Sophomore Free Safety, says, "We were happy to have it last year, but it just didn't feel right to share it with a team that we beat. We remember that and we would like to have it outright and be the number one team, champion in the Missouri Valley."
