Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- The news of Lennon is raising the issue of today's youth and religion.

More and more surveys indicate young people are choosing "not" to attend a church. The F-M project started 4-years ago.

Sponsored in part by the ELCA, the organization strives to minister to those who don't fit into the traditional church. It caters to 20 and 30 somethings in Fargo-Moorhead.

The F-M project meets in coffee shops, pubs, even yoga studios.

Rev. Holly Johnson with Project F-M says, "none of those things, anti-homosexual, judgemental, too political anti science, is another one none of those describe Jesus how do you live in a world and a church that stands for and not what it is against."
