North Dakota and Minnesota rank high in the number of racist tweets during election

North Dakota (WDAY TV) -- North Dakota and Minnesota rank high, in the rate of racist tweets, before and after President Obama was re-elected.

North Dakota (WDAY TV) -- North Dakota and Minnesota rank high, in the rate of racist tweets, before and after President Obama was re-elected.

This is a map of racist tweets from November 1st through the 7th. North Dakota ranks 4th. Minnesota 10th, but was number 1 for states who voted for Obama.

According to the map, virtually all of the racist tweets in North Dakota came from the Minot area. Alabama had the most tweets.

8 states produced none, including South Dakota and Montana.
