Three plead not guilty to pimping Grand Forks teen
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Three people accused of pimping a 17-year-old girl in Grand Forks in 2011 have pleaded not guilty.
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Three people accused of pimping a 17 year-old girl in Grand Forks in 2011 have pleaded not guilty.
The Grand Forks Herald reports that 22 year-old Amanda Stewart, 27 year-old Joshua Harry and 29 year-old Travis Johnson all could face life in prison if convicted.
Johnson also is charged with felony corruption of a minor for allegedly having sex with the teenage girl.
The girl who is now 19 says she was taken to a handful of apartments, houses and motel rooms in Grand Forks. Only one person has been charged as being a customer. Sixty-year-old Michael Delmore has pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor charge of soliciting sex.
