Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A well-known quarterback and broadcaster says businesses can learn a lot from sports teams.
Joe Theismann was the keynote speaker for the Chamber of Commerce "voices of vision" series.
It's designed to bring business visionaries to the metro.
Theisman was an NFL MVP, but is probably best known for a gruesome, career-ending leg injury on Monday Night Football.
Theisman is now a broadcaster, motivational speaker and business entrepreneur.
Joe Theismann, Former NFL Quarterback: “Foundations in sports allow you to develop one particular aspect - and that's mental toughness, and in the environment we compete in today in business, you need to be mentally tough, because of the changes that continue to occur.”
Theisman played 12 years in the NFL. He won a Super Bowl in 1982.
