Jamestown man sentenced to life in prison for murder

Jamestown, ND (WDAY TV) - The Jamestown man convicted of killing a Somali immigrant will spend the rest of his life in prison.

35-year-old Leron Howard was convicted in August of killing Abdi Ali Ahmed in April of 2011.

The 18-year-old's body was found dead in a ditch near Spiritwood.

Authorities say he had a head wound and stab wounds to his abdomen.

22-year old Janelle Cave was sentenced earlier to 11-years in prison.

She was convicted in February on manslaughter and criminal conspiracy charges.
