Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - You can catch a fascinating World War II showcase on this day after Veteran's Day.

The speech at the Fargo Air Museum will be delivered by Kay Nehring, whose father Charles shot this video while serving in the South Pacific in 1944.

The quality is surprisingly good - and it's in color.

Kay reads excerpts from her father's journal to go along with the film.

Clips were featured on the History Channel show "Farm to Flyer."

Charles was raised on a farm in Zahl, North Dakota, North of Williston.

Kay Nehring, Father Shot Video: “He had a sense of the history of the deal. I mean there's 17 months worth of letters laying over there that I typed. He wrote that he wanted to keep this stuff because he wanted his kids to know about it.”

Nehring's presentation is at 7:00.
