Minnesota's revenue exceeds expectations

Minnesota (WDAY TV) -- Things are looking good for Minnesota's budget. The state's tax revenues beat expectations in October.
Estimates show the state brought in about 1.4 billion dollars. That's 4 percent more than expected.
State budget officials say for the 20-13 fiscal year, the state has taken in more than 5 billion dollars. That's 201 million dollars more than expected.
A full budget forecast is due in December.
