Bell ringing for the Salvation Army starts today

Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- It's official. The holiday season is here! It's the 1st day of bell ringing for the Salvation Army in Grand Forks.
Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- It's official. The holiday season is here! It's the 1st day of bell ringing for the Salvation Army in Grand Forks.
Volunteers are taking donations at stores like Super One, Home of Economy, K-Mart, and JC Penny's.
All donations stay in the area and go to people in need. Bell ringers say even a penny makes a big difference.
Bell ringer, Donna Freholich, says, "Every little bit helps, the salvation army was so good to us after the flood of 97, anything we can do to help."
