Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- Most of us couldn't stand all those political ads by election day, but a political science professor says it was critical in Heitkamp's win.
Mark Jendyrysik says between that and her charismatic campaign style, she did a good job getting supporters to the rolls.
Republican Senate Candidate Rick Berg says his loss may have had something to do with former President Bill Clinton's last-minute visit.
Berg lost in his home county, which is Cass, by 10 thousand votes.
