Wheelchair deer hunt scheduled at North Dakota state park

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring a deer hunt for wheelchair-bound hunters at Lake Sakakawea State Park.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring a deer hunt for wheelchair-bound hunters at Lake Sakakawea State Park.

The 11th annual Wheelchair Hunt is scheduled Nov. 17-18. The park will be closed, including campgrounds and trail systems, for the event.

Those interested in participating in the hunt should contact the park. Participation is limited.
