Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Graphic details play out in a Cass County courtroom from the wife of a Fargo doctor accused of drugging and sexually assaulting her.
Dr. Alonna Norberg took the stand to testify against her husband, Dr. Jon Norberg, who is charged with gross sexual imposition and reckless endangerment.
In day three of testimony here inside of Cass County Courthouse, Dr. Jon Norberg listened to his wife Alonna tell jurors gruesome descriptions of the multiple sexual assaults she accuses him of. And again, some of the testimony is graphic..
Alonna: "I remember looking around thinking I've got to get up I got to get away and how could you know it just was just true true horror because I was choking and I couldn't get his mouth away I couldn't get my body away."
Alonna claims her husband raped her after she was sedated, even forcing her to give him oral sex without her consent.
Prosecutors say Norberg used propofol, the same drug that killed Michael Jackson, on his wife about 30 times over 18 months.
She says she'd wake up with brief memories of the assault, often in pain from it happening.
And believes he even made sex tapes of them while he raped her.
The trauma and pain eventually so intense that she went to a divorce lawyer, and eventually to police.
Alonna: "Didn't want to hurt Jon or our kids.."
If convicted of gross sexual imposition, Jon Norberg faces up to life in prison.
Coming up tonight at 10, I'll tell you what Alonna Norberg had to say during cross examination.
