Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- You could be seeing plenty of orange this weekend on the North Dakota prairie.
The deer gun season opened at noon today. The Game and Fish department has a warning for hunters. Be aware of the winter storm in some parts of the state. And the ice on ponds, sloughs, creeks and rivers is thin, and dangerous.
65-thousand licenses were made available. That's down 40-percent from last year.
