Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- A 30-year-old man is in a twin cities hospital after he was hit by a train in Fargo.
Robert Brown, who has no permanent address, was lying across the tracks near the 4200 block of Main Avenue. The train blared its horns and attempted to brake, but was unable to stop before impact.
Brown suffered injuries to his head and torso.
Lt. Joel Vettel with the Fargo police dept. says, "it appears that he was dragged underneath the train for at least probably 6 to 8 of the lengths of the cars in the front of the train."
Brown's current condition is not known.
