(WDAY TV) -- The Vikings offense needs a jumpstart but losing this guy is certainly not going to help that cause.

Percy Harvin injured his ankle in the 3rd quarter in Minnesota's loss at Seattle last week, now he did return to the game, but was seen on crutches yesterday in the Viking locker room; he entered the Seattle game leading the league in receptions and to be without him is bad news for Christian Ponder.

Harvin says, "I'm just going to go day to day. Like I said, I'm in a lot of pain. It's a lot of swelling right now. My whole ankle, all the way around is swelling up right now. We have a lot of work to do. It's a long shot, but I'm not ruling myself out."

Harvin has racked up 62 catches for the Vikes, the next highest mark is Kyle Rudolph at 27.
