Bison women's basketball team gets a verbal commitment from a sophomore

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- The Bison women's basketball team is looking to the future to try and turn around its fortunes in the Summit League, today they're going a couple years down the line.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- The Bison women's basketball team is looking to the future to try and turn around its fortunes in the Summit League, today they're going a couple years down the line.

As NDSU received a verbal commitment from a high school sophomore in Chloe Wanink; from Cameron, Wisconsin.

Wanink is 5'6, she averaged 19 points a game as a freshman, shooting 62 percent from the field! It's also interesting to note she was the Wisconsin state champion of the NFL Punt, Pass and Kick competition in 2010, she'll

be in Fargo in the Fall of 2015.
