Woman struck by car on Halloween has died

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- A Fargo woman is still in critical condition at Essentia after being hit by a car late Halloween night.
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A Fargo woman hit by a car Halloween night has died.
According to her caringbridge website, 23-year-old Lauren Kandt suffered head injuries when she was struck by a minivan.
Kandt was crossing a street south of the Flying J, outside of the crosswalk.
The website says doctors at Essentia in Fargo declared her brain dead, as the injuries were too severe.
And Fargo police say she died over the weekend.
Family members will begin planning a memorial service early this week.
