Repairs slated for Minot train depot

MINOT, N.D. (AP) — Amtrak plans $200,000 in repair work this month to its depot in Minot.

Passenger service was interrupted for five months last year in Minot due to Souris River flooding. The depot and boarding platform were damaged by the high water.

Amtrak spokesman Mark Magliari tells the Minot Daily News that R&K Contractors Inc. will perform the work.
