Norberg trial starts Monday

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Trial starts tomorrow for the Fargo surgeon, accused of drugging and raping his wife.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Trial starts tomorrow for the Fargo surgeon, accused of drugging and raping his wife.

Doctor Jon Norberg is accused of having sex with his wife Alonna, while she was on propofol, a powerful sedative. He's charged with gross sexual imposition and reckless endangerment.

Alonna has publicly denied her husband's claims -- that she agreed to the medication as part of treatment for a debilitating disease.

The trial is scheduled to last until Thanksgiving. It's the first trial at the new 14 point 7 million dollar Cass County Courthouse addition.
