(WDAY TV) -- Petroleum companies continue to search for faster ways of transporting oil out of North Dakota.
The latest proposal from a Houston-based company, is creating a pipeline to Superior, Wisconsin.
The Sandpiper Pipeline would cover more than 500 miles, and could transport 225-thousand barrels a day.
It'd run from the Beaver Lodge area south of Tioga to the company's main terminal in Superior.
