Police respond to a threatening call at the Fergus Falls Walmart

Fergus Falls, MN (WDAY TV) -- Police say chaos at the Fergus Falls Walmart, all started from a threatening phone call.

Fergus Falls, MN (WDAY TV) -- Police say chaos at the Fergus Falls Walmart, all started from a threatening phone call.

Around 7:30 last night, more than 20 officers surrounded the store. Everyone inside was evacuated, outside police blocked vehicles from pulling into the parking lot.

Rumors spread around town that it was a hostage situation, but police say no one was seen making threats or displaying a weapon.

Police say no one was injured. Details of the threat are not yet released.
