Klobuchar, Bills meet for last Minnesota Senate debate

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Democratic Sen. Amy Klobuchar and her Republican challenger, Kurt Bills, are meeting for the last debate of Minnesota's U.S. Senate race.

Klobuchar and Bills meet Sunday night at St. Paul's Fitzgerald Theater for a debate sponsored by Minnesota Public Radio News. The candidates have previously shared a stage three times: at a State Fair debate, a candidate forum in Duluth and talking agriculture at FarmFest in August.

Klobuchar is seeking her second term in the U.S. Senate. Bills is a high school economics teacher in Rosemount and a one-term state representative.

Recent polls have shown Klobuchar with a formidable lead over Bills. She also maintained a tremendous advantage in fundraising.
