BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A Bismarck man has been sentenced to two years in prison for child abuse.
The Bismarck Tribune reports that 27-year-old Bruce Archambault was sentenced on Wednesday after pleading guilty to felony child abuse.
Bismarck police arrested Archambault on Aug. 7 after they found him pushing a stroller in which an infant had been shoved head first into a luggage compartment. Police say it took an officer approximately 30 seconds to remove the boy.
Police say Archambault's blood-alcohol level was more than three times the legal limit for driving.
