ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — St. Jude Medical is cutting another 500 jobs as part of its reorganization plan.

About 100 of the job losses will come in Minnesota. The medical device manufacturer, based in Little Canada, announced 300 layoffs in August, including 80 in Minnesota.
Minnesota Public Radio News says St. Jude is reorganizing its product divisions and will centralize marketing, information technology and human resources. In the most recent quarter, St. Jude's net income fell about 20 percent to $176 million.
