Winona, MN (WDAY TV) -- Preparations are complete for the governor's deer hunting opener on Saturday.
On this 10th year, the opener will take place in Winona. Today members of the statewide media were shown around town. It's all in an effort to boost the rich hunting tradition in Minnesota.
Tomorrow, Governor Dayton will be in Winona. He'll lead a big buck lunch. There are kids events, and much more. All leading up to sunrise on Saturday.
