West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- West Fargo police are investigating a burglary that hit Dakota Tire Service over the weekend.

Investigators say a person could have used a car to push in a garage door on site, to gain access inside the business.

West Fargo police say the burglary happened here over the weekend, sometime between closing shop on Saturday night, and opening the doors Monday morning.

That's when police received a call from the owner of Dakota Tire Service, located at 1111 Armour Street in West Fargo. They believe a person broke through an overhead door to get in.

Mike Reitan/West Fargo Police: "Something was put against the door to cause it to allow access to the building. Potentially it was a vehicle, we don't know for sure that it was a vehicle it could have been some other instrument that was used to open the door."

The burglar then stole about 750 dollars in cash from the main office.

Police are still trying to track down who did it.

Mike Reitan/West Fargo Police: "We had investigators at the scene who took photos of some prints that were at the scene. We tested for fingerprints like we do at other burglaries, and we're hoping to match up what we found with the suspect."

So they're asking anyone with more information to contact the West Fargo Police Department. Police say they do not have any suspects at this time.
