Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- The student-led food drive is calling on the community to help "Fill the Dome." Again.
About 150-people helped kick-off this year's "Fill the Dome" event at the Courtyard by Marriott in Moorhead.
The launch hopes to engage, motivate, and inform people of this year's food drive, which is November 19th and 20th.
Over the year's "Fill the Dome" has raised more than 315-thousand dollars and more than 390-tons of food for people in need.
Nico Hanson, with the Fill the Dome Committee says, "A lot fo people aren't aware of how much hunger we have in the F-M community. Not just F-M area, but also around the state of ND. Fill the dome does help not only F-M community, but across the whole state, and parts of Clay County too, in Minnesota."
You can donate online at fillthedome.org, or bring canned foods to select drop off sites. More than 60-area schools will be involved this year.
