(WDAY TV) -- A Nisswa, Minnesota man was rescued off a sinking ship, 90-miles off the coast of North Carolina. The first rescue associated with Hurricane Sandy.

This is video of the rescue from the Coast Guard.

Jon Svendsen was one of 14 crew members on the H.M.S. Bounty, a replica of a British vessel used in some movies, including "Pirates of the Carribbean."

2 crew members are still missing. The ship started struggling and taking on water from 18-foot swells and 40-mile an hour winds.

The Bounty eventually sank.
