The 13th annual Caters Taters Potato lunch brings in hundreds

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Hundreds of hungry people came together in Fargo to give to a good cause. Potatoes were on the menu.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Hundreds of hungry people came together in Fargo to give to a good cause. Potatoes were on the menu.

RDO Equipment Company and R.D. Offutt Company hosted their 13th annual Caters Taters Potato Lunch at the Doublewood Inn. People from all over the Valley gathered for food, friends, and fundraising.

The event featured pound potatoes with lots of toppings, with all proceeds benefiting the Special Olympics of North Dakota.

Jessi Zenker, with RDO Equipment Communications says, "every year we choose a different charity in the Fargo Moorhead area. So this year we were really excited and its really been a great experience for all of us as employees to work with the Special Olympics."

Since its beginning, the lunch has raised more than 220 thousand dollars for a variety of local charities.
