Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Nate Moody came to NDSU as all-state selection out of Dickinson, racking up 13 touchdowns his senior season for the Midgets.

He walked on to the Bison, not sure if he'd ever see the field.

He was pressed into service last year because of injuries, now in his sophomore season he's thriving. Moody caught 5 balls for 91 yards and a touchdown and he's enjoying the ride.

Nate Moody, Bison Sophomore Wide Receiver: "It went through my head last year now it's kind of back to normal. Don't think about it a lot. Saturday felt like a high school game kind of had that atmosphere. Last year was Warren and Ryan and then I was kind of space filler, call it that."

Brock Jensen, Bison Senior Quarterback: "We were all happy for Nate,

had a breakout game, big for him. Just deepens our depth at wide receiver."

Ryan Smith is expected back in the lineup this Saturday. NDSU has added a verbal commitment for next season, the 4th out of the state of Wisconsin in wide receiver Drew Davis from Eau Claire, he's 6'3, 207 pounds, he becomes the 7th member of the class of 2013.
