Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The US Navy's newest fighting vessel, the USS Minnesota, will be christened Saturday, almost 5-years after construction began on the nuclear-powered submarine.
This is the sub's seal, which was designed by a Roseville teen, who won the logo contest.
The 7,800 ton sub will have a bottle of champagne smashed across its hull in Virginia.
The sub will officially become an active ship in the Navy, when it's commissioned next summer.
