Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- U.S. Senate candidate Heidi Heitkamp is traveling North Dakota to outline her proposals of how to cut spending in Washington.
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- U.S. Senate candidate Heidi Heitkamp is traveling North Dakota to outline her proposals of how to cut spending in Washington.
Heitkamp made a stop in Fargo for her Balance the Budget tour. She says she's not willing to touch social security or Medicare. Instead, she'd focus on getting people back to work, and cracking down on Medicare fraud.
She also said the 16 trillion dollar debt will cripple the next generation, if something isn't done.
