Power Outage in North Moorhead

Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) -- 3-hundred Moorhead homes and businesses lost power this morning.
It happened around 8. The affected area was around 9th Street, from 2nd Avenue North all the way up to the American Crystal Sugar plant.
A spokesperson for Moorhead Public Service says a squirrel got into a riser poll and shorted a circuit.
Power was restored after 45 minutes.
